I just can’t wait for the opportunity to put this idea into action!! So here’s fair warning for those I work with and live with!!
How cool an idea is this! Re-surface the walls of your office – or classroom – to turn them into a whiteboard. Meeting discussion notes or just about anything you want to share can then be written up on the walls, left up indefinitely or wiped off straight away ready for the next note sharing session! Created by John Goscha this cool product is marketed as IdeaPaint. Check out how it can be applied at work, school or home or contact the company directly for details of how to purchase.
Meantime, have fun viewing this ‘ideas’ YouTube video or alternately the serious video (second below) which tells you how to go about applying IdeaPaint to transform your wall and your life!
Really interesting innovation. Any idea of the cost?
Need some ideas paint on my computer screen!!
Hmmm… not sure how healthy the computer screen would be after application of the paint!
A very innovative concept. Any idea of the cost? Would the paint be able to handle ‘permanent markers” – ie erase capabilities? Does one use ordinary whiteboard markers or special ones? Thanks
You’d be best to check directly with IdeaPaint themsleves for these kinds of details.
Cool idea Bev, visual thinking like this would be amazing in the workplace. Saves paper too.
Will add your astutue comments to the requisition form I put into the maintenance department at work!!
Whiteboard surfaces do have really bad acoustics. Maybe just hold back a little.
Thanks for the advice Mary. It seems though that this paint can be applied to nearly any surface so that while it looks and functions like a whiteboard, it actually isn’t a whiteboard – though I’m not 100% sure…..
